Can I choose how my engraving is layed out?
Yes to an extent dictated by the product... We have an area called "special engraving instructions" in the checkout phase which will allow you to choose exactly how you'd like the engraving layed out... i.e. if you'd like the text on 2 seperate lines, say so there - please note you will need to add text in the initial engraving field of the product to be allowed to progress into the checkout phase... If you'd like to add all your instructions in the "special engraving instructions" field then simply put SEE SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS ( if it fits in the field) or if there isn't room simply add a "space".

When will EGI send out my order?
Our standard despatch time is 24hrs after the day you placed your order (not including weekends).

How will EGI send out my order?
For the UK... Via first class post as standard (estimated 3-5 day delivery time) but will upgrade your despatch for UK mainland orders to a next day courier service if you opt for the £7.50 Platinum Service

Will I need to sign for my order?
If you have upgraded to Platinium service; or spent over £50 and been automatically upgraded to Platinium service then yes the delivery will require a signature because it'll arrive via a courier.

What if I spend over £50?
If your order is over £50 in value EGI will automatically upgrade your service to PLATINUM SERVICE; A Courier which will require a signature.

What if I'm not home when the parcel is delivered?

  • First Class Post - as per normal post. If the parcel is too big to fit in your letter box they will leave a card and you will need to collect or arrange re-delivery (this is not charged for).
  • Royal Mail Special Delivery - if there is nobody home to sign for the parcel they will leave a card and you will need to collect or arrange re-delivery (this is not charged for).
  • Courier Delivery - if there is nobody home to sign for the parcel they will leave a card - you will need call the number on the card to arrange re-delivery (this is not charged for).
  • Note; it is your responsibility to arrange collection or re-delivery, EGI will not accept responsibility where this has not occurred.

What are working days for EGI?
Working days are Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm GMT.

Do you ship Internationally?
Yes we do to the following areas: (the standard delivery charges are shown)

  • The EU + £5
  • The EEA + £5
  • The US & Canada + £10
  • Australia & Japan + £10

What if my engraving is wrong?
If your engraving is wrong due to a mistake by EGI we will replace your order using our Express Service.

What if I want to cancel my order?
If you want to cancel your order you need to tell us within 24 hours of you placing the order, however, if your order has already been engraved you cannot cancel your order. Cancellations cannot be accepted after this time or if your order has already been engraved.

Returns Policy
Once a product is engraved we will not replace it unless the engraving is wrong or the product is broken. You cannot return an engraved product if you change your mind about the actual product and it's impossible to un-engrave and resell the item.

What if EGI are out of stock of an item?
If EGI are out of stock of an item you have ordered, you will be contacted within 24 hours by phone or email to offer an alternative
or a full refund.

What if I have special delivery requirements or instructions?
If you have special delivery instructions, there is a box where you can enter your requirements at Stage 2 of the checkout procedure.

Do EGI engrave logos or pictures?
EGI do not engrave logos or pictures for individual personalised engravings from this website. If you have a corporate or promotional requirement visit our sister website www.corporate-gifts-co.com

Who are EGI?
EGI is a division of Solo Trading Limited. Solo Trading Ltd are based in Stratford upon Avon and have been providing first class gift solutions since 1991. Stock is held on site and engraving is done in our in-house engraving department using computerised diamond point engraving machines.
