When will EGI send out my order?
Our standard despatch time is 5 days after the date you place your order; that means from the day you place your order you should expect delivery in approx 7-10 days subject to Royal Mail postal service.

What are working days for EGI?
Working days are Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm.

How will EGI send out my order?
Our standard SILVER delivery service uses Royal Mail first class post and is FREE for every order.
What if I need despatch earlier than 5 working days?

There are 2 options;
GOLD SERVICE - EGI guarantee to upgrade your despatch method to Royal Mail Special Delivery or Courier both of which are guaranteed next day delivery. So you expect your order in 6 working days after your order date.
PLATINUM SERVICE - EGI guarantee to despatch your order 2 working days after the day you placed your order by Royal Mail Special Delivery or Courier both of which are guaranteed next day delivery. So you expect your order in 4 working days after your order date (eg if you order on Monday you will receive your order on Thursday).

Will I need to sign for my order?
If you have chosen one of the express services; either the post or courier will require a signature for delivery.

What if I spend over £50?
If your order is over £50 in value EGI will automatically upgrade your service to PLATINUM SERVICE; ie Royal Mail Special Delivery or Courier which will require a signature.

What if I'm not home when the parcel is delivered?

  • First Class Post - as per normal post. If the parcel is too big to fit in your letter box they will leave a card and you will need to collect or arrange re-delivery (this is not charged for).
  • Royal Mail Special Delivery - if there is nobody home to sign for the parcel they will leave a card and you will need to collect or arrange re-delivery (this is not charged for).
  • Courier Delivery - if there is nobody home to sign for the parcel they will leave a card - you will need call the number on the card to arrange re-delivery (this is not charged for).
  • Note; it is your responsibility to arrange collection or re-delivery, EGI will not accept responsibility where this has not occurred.

What if I don't receive my order?
EGI will treat your order as lost or missing only after 10 working days after your order date for standard delivery or 5 working days after your order date for Express Service. In this event, EGI will replace your order as soon as possible. EGI will not under any circumstances replace an order before this time.

What if my engraving is wrong?
If your engraving is wrong due to a mistake by EGI we will replace your order using our Express Service.

What if I want to cancel my order?
If you want to cancel your order you need to tell us within 24 hours of you placing the order, however, if your order has already been engraved you cannot cancel your order. Cancellations cannot be accepted after this time or if your order has already been engraved.

What if EGI are out of stock of an item?
If EGI are out of stock of an item you have ordered, you will be contacted within 24 hours by phone or email to offer an alternative
or a full refund.

What if I have special requirements for my engraving (such as layout etc)?
If you have special engraving instructions, there is a box where you can enter your requirements at Stage 2 of the checkout procedure.

If you have special delivery instructions, there is a box where you can enter your requirements at Stage 2 of the checkout procedure.

Do EGI engrave logos or pictures?
EGI do not engrave logos or pictures for individual personalised engravings from this website. If you have a corporate or promotional requirement visit our sister website www.corporate-gifts-co.com

Who are EGI?
EGI is a division of Solo Trading Limited. Solo Trading Ltd are based in Stratford upon Avon and have been providing first class gift solutions since 1991. Stock is held on site and engraving is done in our in-house engraving department using computerised diamond point engraving machines.
